Nakamoto, Okamoto & Yamamoto provides legal services to residents and businesses on the Island of Hawaii. The attorneys and staff work closely with clients to advise and represent them in a broad range of areas from estate planning and probates to land transactions and business transactions.

Our law firm began when Roy K. Nakamoto (now retired) formed a firm in 1969. Since that time, the attorneys in our firm have worked closely with each other to provide services to our clients and to our community. Our longstanding relationships with the Hawaii legal and business communities allow us to work with others in resolving the more complex issues which our clients encounter.

We are pleased to announce that James H. Kunimura has joined Alan M. Okamoto and Jerel I. Yamamoto as an officer and director of the firm.

Our office is open to visitors by appointment only (no walk-ins). Our lobby is open for pick-ups and deliveries Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. If the door is locked during these hours, please ring the doorbell.

Hand deliveries of documents in sealed envelopes may be made at any time through the mail slot in our main door upstairs facing Ponahawai Street. Please include your name and contact information in the package.

If you are interested in employment with us, please contact our office manager to see if we have an opening. Applicants must be age 18 or over and authorized to work in the U.S.
